A Seattle institution.
Since 1990, Maritime Pacific Brewing has called Ballard home.
In 2025, Rooftop Brew Co took the helm at Maritime and merged operations. Both brands live on, and many of Maritime's beloved beers are still brewed for the Jolly Roger and beyond.

Brewed with imagination.
Maritime Pacific Brewing Company was founded in 1990, making it one of the earliest craft breweries in the Pacific Northwest. Long before "craft beer" was a household term, George and Jane Hancock were brewing with imagination in Ballard.
For more than three decades, Maritime anchored the Ballard brewing scene.

Thank you, George & Jane.
Thirty-five years of brewing in Ballard, of knowing regulars by name, of showing up through Seattle's many changes. George & Jane Hancock's retirement in 2025 was a celebration well earned.
